Sustainability engineers also have to ensure that a company’s sustainable initiatives meet certain sustainability specifications or certifications such as LEED Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building certifications.

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Ex. civil, agricultural, environmental, and mechanical engineering) with professional certifications from organizations such as BREEAM or the Association of Energy Engineers’ Certified Sustainable Development Professional.

Solar Panel Installer
