Content Creator

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment period;

• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, or international student* for the duration of the program;

• Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations; and

• Will not be holding another Canada Summer Jobs position at the same time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing creative and effective video content for social media platforms (i.e. reels)

• Creating content for reports, educational modules and presentations

• If within the skillset(s) of the Content Creator, you may also be asked to create motion graphic designs, paintings, illustrations, videography, or photography

Other 

• Understanding of the organization, its purpose, history, policies and programs

• Represent the organization in a professional and congenial manner in videos and in meetings

• Delegation or sharing of duties with others as necessary 

• Other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications:

• A portfolio of content creation work available for the assessment of skills in video production during application process

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and similar software

• Highly artistic and creative

Assets:

• Experience as a social media influencer or in a similar role

• Bilingualism in English and French
